Nampaknya Nokia tidak ingin mengikuti jejak produsen smartphone lain untuk memproduksi ponsel berbasis Android secara gencar. Terbukti, baru-baru ini sudah bocor ke publik jika Nokia akan mengeluarkan 2 produk baru, generasi Nokia Lumia yang berbasis windows phone. Nokia Lumia 820 dan Nokia Lumia 920. Nokia Lumia 920 nampaknya akan menggunakan layar 4,5 inchi, layar yang selebar milik generasi Nokia N9 atau Lumia 800 dan hadir dengan warna baru.

Namun untuk Nokia Lumia 820 akan hadir dengan non-Pureview teknologi dengan layar 4,3 inchi, namun hadir dengan warna yang Jazzy dan kemungkinan harganya yang sedikit terjangkau.

Setelah empat tahun menanti, akhirnya Communicator Community kembali kedatangan seri Communicator Nokia terbaru, yaitu E7 yang disebut sebagai ‘The New Stylist Communicator’. Peluncuran Nokia E7 dilakukan di Bibliotheque, Sampoerna Stategic Square Jakarta, kemarin (21/2).

Ya, hari ini saham nokia sudah anjlok 25% sejak kolaborasinya dg microsoft, kita tahu sebelumnya telah anjlok 9% hanya beberapa jam stlh kolaborasi . (sumber: MM ).

Bukan cuma itu, market share smartphone nokia yang selama ini selalu nomer 1, diprediksi akan turun ke posisi 5 dibawah apple, rim (blackberry), samsung dan HTC (sumber: tomi ).

Yah mudahan saja gugatan 9 pemegang saham minoritas nokia  berhasil melengserkan Elop dari CEO lalu membatalkan kolaborasi dg microsoft dan membangkitkan symbian dari kuburannya.

Setelah Kolaborasi dg Nokia, WP ditambahkan Fitur Kopi-Paste & Multitaskiking

Mulai maret besok, windows phone akan dapat tambahan fitur multitask dan kopi paste.

Diawal pengumuman kolaborasi microsoft dan nokia, saya tak habis bagaimana WP7 akan menggantikan Symbian padahal WP7 jelas produk gagal (penjualan minim*) .

 Ditambah tidak adanya fitur semacam multitasking atau kopi paste? Tapi untungkah nokia dapat ijin ‘customize without limitations’, tidak limited seperti di HTC atau yg lain.

Dan setelah kerja sama dg nokia ini, akhirnya WP akan dapat kemampuan multitask dan kopi paste mulai bulan depan. Menarik ditunggu bagaimana dg fungsi USB mass storage/flashdisk? USB OTG ? Custom Ringtone? Themes? Dan fitur lain yang biasa ditemui di Symbian?

Sembilan Pemegang Saham Nokia Menolak WP dan Mau Mempertahankan Symbian

Nokia ternyata Punya ‘Plan B’ yakni mempertahankan Symbian dan Membatalkan Kerja Sama dg Microsoft. Ini karena 9 Pemegang Saham Minoritas Nokia Ingin Memanfaatkan hak mereka untuk meninjau ulang kebijakan nokia.

Berawal dari membaca berita di blog sahabat saya tentang Amerika Yang Akan Menjajah Dunia melalui Nokia . Diceritakan disana , berawal dari sebagian saham nokia dibeli NASDAQ (amerika), lalu pengangkatan CEO Sthepan Elop yang merupakan pemilik saham ke7 terbesar Microsoft, kemudian media2 yang memberitakan secara unfair tentang symbian beredar, sampai akhirnya nokia akhirnya berkolaborasi dg microsoft , dan mengumumkan kematian symbian . Ternyata kolaborasi tsb banyak mengecewakan fans nokia, bahkan saham nokia langsung anjlok beberapa jam setelahnya . Hal itu disusul pengunduran diri sebagian staf loyal nokia. Hal tersebut rupanya disadari 9 pemegang saham minoritas nokia, mereka akan menggunakan hak mereka meninjau ulang kebijakan tsb dg terlebih dahulu melengserkan Sthepan Elop dari kursi CEO Nokia. Mereka menginginkan Symbian tetap dipertahankan dan membatalkan penggunaan Windows Phone sebagai OS utamanya . (sumber: Neowin ).

Ini tentu harapan buat penggemar symbian spt saya, karena menurut saya tidak ada masalah dg symbian, apalagi symbian punya keunggulan di batrenya. Jika memang symbian kurang cantik UInya, ya jgn dibunuh, biarkan symbian jadi smartphone lowend sampe midend nokia dan utk yg highend boleh dah pake yg laen. Contoh aja samsung, utk sekedar maen di pasar highend mereka pinjam android, tapi serius mengembangkan OS Bada buatan mereka. Masa nokia mau membunuh OS yang susah payah dilahirkan dan dibesarkan sendiri demi Trend?
